Bare Island offers some great diving and there are a variety of different dives you can do around the Island. The depth of the dive varies from 10m to 20m. The site has excellent Sponge gardens and a large variety of fish. The eastern

World famous Bondi Beach is no doubt a remarkable surfing & swimming destination, however, one of the most fascinating aspects of Bondi and its best-kept secret is the rocky northern point. Its diverse and interesting underwater marine life and topography is matched only by the abundance of schooling fish that inhabit its swim throughs, overhangs and caves. Maximum depth 21m.

Camp Cove is in Sydney Harbour near Watsons Bay. It is where the First Fleet's Captain Phillip landed in 1785. There are often large blue gropers, schools of small yellowtail, trevally & pike. Sea grass covers most of the bottom of this bay with loads of long cornet fish, leatherjackets and schooling striped catfish common in the area. It is in the sea grass that you can spot whites and short headed sea horses and tiger pipefish. Camp Cove is also a great night dive and offers sheltered conditions for diving when the sea is too rough to dive elsewhere.

This dive offers the clearest water in the area. With a maximum depth of 25m this site has some spectacular scenery. Can only be dive when the seas are very flat and is not a site for inexperienced divers. This site is one of the best in Sydney.

The Monument is a very easy dive site. Due to its location right in the bay viz can be a little worse here than other sites around Kurnell. But it is still a very nice relaxing dive with usually lots to see including a large population of weedy sea dragons. Maximum depth 14m.

Oak Park is a massive reef located at the end of the Cronulla Peninsula. Although only offering a maximum depth of 11m this site is so extensive that most divers only touch the edge of it. The site has a large range of fish life and few divers can say they have really dived this site. It is a great site for all levels of divers.

Ship Rock |

Ship rock is an 18m wall dive and due to its position inside Port Hacking, it can only be dived at high or low tide. Ship rock is not known for good visibility. 5m is considered quite good but it can range up to 15m on a really good day. There is so much to see on this dive that it usually doesn’t matter if viz is poor. Over 130 species of fish have been recorded here. Tropical fishes can be seen during warmer months.
